Fall MU Engagement Session
Timing is everything, friends. At least we’re big believers of that around here. Kyle may tease me about it all the time, but it’s 100% true. Especially when it comes to meeting the love of your life, falling in love, and planning your future together. If you’ve heard our ridiculous story you know that for sure. But it’s also true for lots of other couples that we know. Which just reaffirms our confidence in that statement.

Andrew and Payton are one of those couples. Despite the fact that these two met their freshmen year at Mizzou, they waited to start dating until the time was right for them. They stuck it out through a long-distance, cross-country relationship. And when they were good and ready? They went for a gorgeous hike in the mountains and Andrew proposed to his very best friend. And, of course, Payton said yes.
Now these two competitive, passionate, amazing people are planning their wedding. And do you know what they’re doing that we can’t get enough of? They’re doing their own thing at their own pace when it’s right for them. Engagement pictures in Columbia? Check. A gorgeous evening, winter ceremony at 28 Event Space? Check. A doughnut bar instead of traditional wedding cake? Check and check. PS – we got to help them taste test those doughnuts and watch out. That’s going to be one heck of a doughnut bar!
So please, friends, take a seat and get comfy, in your own time, of course. Enjoy some of our favorites from Payton and Andrew’s engagement session at Mizzou. Enjoy all of those gorgeous fall colors while we wait for spring to bloom around here. And of course, feel free to give these two as much love as you can.

Through all of the craziness of living in St. Louis while planning a Kansas City wedding, these two have each other’s backs. No matter what. Although they’re two of the most competitive people we know, they’re always on each other’s team. And that’s probably one of the things we love most about them. You know, except for the inspiration to try more craft beer and stay in and build Legos.
