Friends, meet Payton and Andrew. Two of the kindest, sweetest, funniest, most down to earth people we’ve ever met. They also happen to be engaged and getting married next December. Which, we’re super excited for, because we get to make their wedding photos. We haven’t known these two for very long, BUT. It feels like we’ve been friends forever.

You’ll hear more of their story so, soon, but in the meantime, you just need to know that Payton and Andrew met their freshman year at Mizzou. How? They lived in the same dorm. And while it took them a while to start dating, the important thing is that they did. Even if their first date did get cut short so they could watch the Cardinals in the World Series.

The love these two share is oh-so-obvious. But it’s not necessarily the touchy-feely, ooey-gooey kind of love. It’s a love that’s rooted in a deep, deep friendship, full of fun competitiveness, craft beer, and Lego building. And a love for baseball.

Needless to say, we were SO excited when Payton and Andrew wanted to head to MU for their engagement photos. These two live in St. Louis now, and we were more than happy to meet them in the middle at their alma mater. The place where it all started. We got to hit up some favorite spots of theirs, and of course, some classic MU photo op spots as well.

We’re SO excited to share this sneak peek from their session. These two had just finished a fall-leaf-tossing-war, and were laughing and giggling and enjoying each other so much. We LOVE this image, because it just shows the ease of their relationship and love for each other. And you know that’s something we just can’t get enough of.
