Elegant Fall Wedding at The Buffalo Lodge
We are so happy to share Amanda and Michael’s gorgeous, elegant fall wedding at The Buffalo Lodge with you! Amanda and Michael knew that they wanted a stress-free wedding day to celebrate with family and friends. In the midst of changing jobs, working full-time, and taking care of their sweet kiddo, Isabella, they wanted to make things as easy as possible for themselves leading up to their big day. Their solution? Hire one of Kansas City’s best wedding planners to take care of all of their details and wedding day needs.
Getting Ready
Amanda and Michael loved the Buffalo Lodge because it has space for both of them to get ready. Their bridal suite is amazing, and let Amanda sneak into the reception hall to see everything coming together. Meanwhile, Michael and his groomsmen got to get ready in the groom’s cabin just outside of the main building. They had the whole cabin to themselves!
First Look “Sneak Peek”
Amanda knew that she wanted to see Michael for the first time walking down the aisle in her gown. But, she was a little nervous and wanted to be able to talk to him before their ceremony. Their solution? A sneak-peek/no look first look around the Buffalo Lodge’s gorgeous wooden doors. These two were so anxious leading up to this moment, but were both so glad they decided to do it. I’m not normally a betting person, but I would have bet money that Amanda was going to yank that door back to see her handsome groom! This actually ended up being one of Amanda and Michael’s favorite moments from their wedding day.
Wedding Ceremony
Amanda & Michael’s wedding ceremony took place on the Buffalo Lodge’s back lawn, just as the sun was going down. Jessica and her team did an amazing job decorating the ceremony space – isn’t it so pretty! And they couldn’t have wished for more beautiful light as Amanda rounded the corner to see her groom. Michael was so excited to see his beautiful bride!
Wedding Party Pictures
After their wedding ceremony we snuck off with the newly married couple and their bridal party for a few wedding party photos up the road from the main lodge. After a few minutes, we sent the wedding party back to enjoy cocktail hour so Amanda and Michael could have a few minutes to just themselves. These evening photos under the trees along the road are just magical!
Wedding Reception
Amanda and Michael kicked off their reception with their first dance as husband and wife, and celebrated late into the night with their friends and family.
