Vibrant Summer Wedding at The Bauer Sneak Peek

Friends. Meet Amanda and Jared. These sweet lovebirds tied the knot last week in an absolutely gorgeous vibrant summer wedding at The Bride and The Bauer. Completely surrounded by family and friends that traveled to Kansas City from all over the country, Amanda and Jared celebrated their sweet relationship all dang day. 

What should you know right off the bat about Amanda and Jared? 

Well, for starters, they met playing sand volleyball at Berkeley Riverfront Park several years ago. They became good friends for several years, and eventually realized just how much they have in common. Along the way these two added in two sweet dogs, bought a hundred year old farmhouse that they’re fixing up, and survived working from home together for over a year. 

And the rest? Well. Let’s just say that after their wedding at The Bauer on Friday, it’s pretty much history. 

Or the beginning of their history, that is. 🙂 

And we must say for ourselves, it started off with a bang. Okay, maybe with breakfast and haircuts, and hair and makeup. But then definitely with a bang.Or, at least, a clap of thunder or two. Because you see, right about the time Amanda and Jared were supposed to do their first look and head outside for photos? An absolutely gnarly thunderstorm hit downtown Kansas City. Which means that instead of wandering the Crossroads doing photos, we got to hang out with these two and take advantage of so many of The Bauer’s unique corners and crannies. 

But, despite all of the wind and rain, we’re pretty sure that Amanda and Jared had the best day ever. All of their family and friends from out of town were able to make it to Kansas City for their wedding. Amanda’s dad didn’t completely lose it when he saw his sweet girl in her wedding dress for the first time. And the family members that they asked to do readings during their wedding ceremony? Chose the most beautiful, meaningful readings they could to celebrate these two. 

And did we mention their reception? 

Because Amanda and Jared got to celebrate all night long, with so many loved ones they hadn’t seen in such a long time. They even rounded out their evening with a sparkler exit down the infamous alleyway beside The Bauer.
