The Best Downtown KC Rooftop Wedding Venues
There’s nothing quite like being on a rooftop in downtown Kansas City looking back at the city. Somehow, it just makes you fall in love with the city a little bit more, and makes you feel that much more young and alive. When it comes to downtown Kansas City wedding venues, one thing is for sure: If the venue has a rooftop, that ultimately elevates it above all of the others. Especially if that rooftop has great views of the downtown skyline. Even better, if that rooftop has a big enough space for you to have cocktail hour, or even your ceremony or reception on it.

Today we’re sharing the top 5 best downtown KC Rooftop wedding venues, and have even thrown in a few honorable mentions because the photo ops are just too good to pass up.
The Best Downtown KC Rooftop Wedding Venues
The Otten on Main
We can say without a doubt that The Otten on Main is one of the most unique wedding venues in downtown Kansas City. With it’s super intimate, loft-like inside space, and it’s killer rooftop views of downtown Kansas City? This venue is a favorite for sure! The Otten on Main sits in the heart of the Crossroads District, just far enough away from downtown Kansas City to be able to see the full skyline, but close enough to just be a streetcar stop away from Power and Light. This venue is perfect for the downtown loving couple that wants to be downtown, but still wants a super unique venue for their wedding day.

On Broadway Rooftop Event Space
On Broadway is one of those hidden gems that you always see photos from, and wonder where in the heck that place is that has such amazing views. For real though. The really unique thing about this venue is that it’s essentially a rooftop deck that looks out over downtown Kansas City. On Broadway is situated off Southwest Boulevard and Broadway, and the views from this venue are just amazing. It should be noted that this venue doesn’t have an indoor space, but it’s views and ambiance 100% make up for that.

Terrace on Grand
The Terrace on Grand is one of the original venues in Kansas City with rooftop access. Years ago when it opened it was the only venue of its kind. Now, with its exposed brick and casual inside space and amazing rooftop location, it’s a Kansas City staple. With the ability to have your ceremony and reception or cocktail on the roof or inside, and its single block walk to Power and Light, this is easily one of the best downtown KC rooftop wedding venues.
