Museum at Prairiefire Wedding Reception
Friends, words can’t even express how excited we are to share Molly and Mark’s wedding day with you today. We LOVE sharing all of our sweet couples with you. BUT, we’re so excited to share Molly and Mark’s Museum at Prairiefire wedding reception! Why? Probably because they remind us a little bit of ourselves…. 🙂
These two lovebirds met online. But, not on any of the apps that you might think. Instead, they met on Coffee Meets Bagel – a dating app known for connecting people and encouraging them to have authentic, enthusiastic conversations from the get-go.
Enthusiasm – something Molly and Mark have in common.
Whether it’s working in the yard of their new home, having a progressive dinner at some of their faves (pre-COVID, of course), or playing with their sweet pup Jax, these two approach everything they do with enthusiasm. And, even though they’re very much each other’s opposite, they’re both willing to go along with whatever the other one wants to do or try. Which just means….they wind up trying and doing so many new things together. 🙂
While they both admittedly are not super-lovey-dovey-touchy-feely-swoon-for-the-camera-love-to-have-their-photo-taken people, they love and care for each other so incredibly much. And to be honest? Contrary to popular belief you don’t have to have one, big, long make-out session in front of the camera on wedding day to have meaningful photos and memories. All that you have to do? Be yourself.
Which, according to Molly and Mark, was exactly what they wanted. Especially since most of the photos in their home are vacation photos that they’ve taken on a phone and then printed. (Who are we kidding – that’s what most of our photos are too!) They wanted their wedding photos to look and feel like them – casual, but fun. And while we’re going to let you be the judge, we think they accomplished their mission.
Because all day on wedding day?
These two laughed and had fun with their VIPs. Whether it was Molly and her bridesmaids hurling insults coated with love at each other all morning…. (you’re so ugly right now. I can’t even stand you.) or Mark’s groomsmen hoisting him into the air during wedding party photos, these lovebirds let go of everything on wedding day and just enjoyed. Lived in the moment, if you will. Loved on their nieces and Mark’s grandma. Sang along to Molly’s Dad’s band during their reception.
Literally, these two had the best day ever. And while some things may not have turned out the way they expected or planned, they made the most of it. Which means they had the most perfect-for-them wedding day ever.
