March Engagement Session Sneak Peek

Friends!! The sun is shining, it’s almost 70* outside, and it’s just plain GORGEOUS!!! Does this mean that spring is here and the groundhog was wrong? We sure hope so! It sure feels like spring is here! Especially since we had our first March engagement session this past weekend – woohoo!! I’m not going to lie, it was really nice to have a break from our cameras after a crazy fall, BUT it was even nicer to get back to hanging out with the AMAZING humans we get to call clients. AND to get to make some photos for those amazing humans. 

In this case, we got to make photos for Kristie and Damon again.

You might remember these two lovebirds from last year. They were actually our last engagement session of the year. And, TBH, we wound up postponing the second half of their session. Why? Well, Damon had a toothache. Have you ever tried to make out, smile, and be incredibly happy with a toothache? Friends. We couldn’t believe he lasted as long as he did. (For what it’s worth, we didn’t even know he had a toothache until halfway through their session!) 

Well. These two lovebirds got the second half of their session on the calendar for early in January. And lo and behold, I, Melissa got sick and we had to postpone. Again. And then Kristie and Damon got rescheduled again. But, then, the frozen tundra and arctic air that was February moved in and we had to postpone again. 

But finally, FINALLY, we got to see Kristie and Damon again.

And sure, there may be a few months between part 1 and part 2 of their engagement session. But you know what? These two lovebirds wound up with the MOST BEAUTIFUL March engagement session day. With quite possibly the most beautiful sunset. 

Friends. It was soooo wonderful to laugh and play with these two, and watch them take some time to reconnect with each other again.
