Laura & Ryan's Carefree Kansas City Engagement Session
One of the most important things to us during a session is that our subjects enjoy themselves. We realize that it might sound silly, but we really, really want anyone we photograph to have a good experience. Photography is such a personal experience, and we always want to make sure that whoever we’re creating images for feels comfortable in front of our cameras.
Laura and Ryan are no exception to the rule. Going into their engagement session we knew they were a little nervous. But Ryan was convinced to make his bride (and us) laugh throughout their entire session. In fact, he made it his personal goal to keep us all on our toes and laughing. We are so glad they were able to relax and enjoy their engagement session!
Laura and Ryan left their session locations up to us. Knowing that they like things a little more urban, but still elegant. We met this fun couple at The Nelson to start off their engagement session.

After finishing up at The Nelson, we met Laura and Ryan on Kansas City’s Westside. This fit their fun, funky, urban vibe perfectly. Laura and Ryan ended the night dancing in front of the Kansas City skyline.

We are SO excited for Laura and Ryan’s wedding day this April! Congratulations again, Laura and Ryan!
