Colorful Downtown KC Fall Engagement Session

We’re going to let you all in on a little secret today. Like so many other photographers, couples, heck, even just HUMANS, we love fall. Like, LOVE fall. And LOVE fall engagement sessions. There’s just something about starting an engagement session on a nice, warm, sunny day, and being able to end it wrapped up in sweaters and scarfs snuggling with your honey. We LOVE fall engagement sessions for that reason, but also because of all of the colorful trees. And if you’ve been around here for even half of a second, you know color is our jam. 

Everybody loves fall, that’s not the secret here. 

The secret, is that one of our favorite fall engagement picture locations? It’s not known for that. It’s known for its architecture and city skyline views. Just in case you haven’t guessed by now, we’re talking about Liberty Memorial. Yep, it’s one of our favorite locations ever to use for fall sessions. 

Sure, the city skyline is great. But have you ever stopped to look beyond that picture-perfect skyline spot? The lines of trees going up and down the driveway are PERFECT for fall sessions. And those leaves? They turn the most glorious colors ever during fall. AND when they start dropping those leaves? The carpet of crisp, crunch, vibrant leaves they leave behind are so much dang fun to play with. 

Which is, 100% why we knew we had to do Courtney and Sal’s engagement session at Liberty Memorial.
