There are so many reasons why we love Kansas City. The barbeque, the developing downtown, but most of all, the feeling of the city. Kansas City is one of those “little” big cities, if you will. It always seems like someone we meet knows someone that we already know. In this case, Katie realized that she knew one of our former brides while looking through albums at Bridal Spectacular.
Katie and Brackon are getting married in February. They were excited to get their save the dates out as soon as possible when we first met with them. The catch? Katie wanted fall leaves in their engagement pictures. Since we knew they needed to get their save the dates out, we suggested doing a mini-session. While it doesn’t happen very often, we do occasionally love doing mini-sessions!
Katie and Brackon met us downtown one afternoon for their session. Katie had mentioned before that they were planning on doing something more casual for their save the dates. They wanted to incorporate their favorite Charlie Hustle t-shirts. One of our favorite neighborhoods has beautiful brick walls and buildings that complemented their outfits perfectly! It also really matched the tone they wanted to set for their save-the-dates.
The clouds rolling in as sun set made for some beautiful, dramatic ending shots We had so much fun laughing with these two during their engagement session!
