Classic KU Engagement Session | Lawrence KS

Sometimes when you meet someone, you get a feeling. A feeling that it’s just meant to be and that you were supposed to meet them. That’s the feeling we got when we met Paige last summer at KC Weddings Bridal Spectacular show. She and I fell into an easy conversation that felt like we had known each other for years. And can I tell you how excited we were when we met her fiancé, Austin, and the same thing happened? We LOVED getting to know these two as we planned their fall engagement session!

Paige and Austin actually met through Paige’s older brother. Austin is one of his very good friends, and they knew each other for years before they started dating. Always at the heart of their relationship, the University of Kansas is a special, special place for them. And it’s where Paige knew she wanted her engagement photos to be taken. It seems like every summer something new is happening on campus, and we were so excited to take a trip to Lawrence to find some great new spots for their session.

The day we met Paige and Austin for their engagement session it was so crazy windy! Paige has such beautiful long hair, and was a complete trooper fighting the wind all afternoon! We hit up some of Paige and Austin’s favorite campus haunts, as well as some fun new buildings on campus. And we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect sunset to cap off their second location at Clinton Lake. Here’s a look at just some of our favorites from their session – enjoy!
