Sunny Winter Engagement Sneak Peek

Friends, meet Emily and Alex. You know what’s super exciting about these two (besides their oh-so-obvious, contagious love for each other)? They’re our very first engagement session of the year. WOOHOOO!!!! And they pretty much picked the most perfect day ever for their engagement pictures. It was so much fun to spend a warm, sunny winter February afternoon with these two.

What should you know about Emily and Alex?

Well, for starters, Emily was the very first girl that Alex met after he moved to Kansas City and decided to start meeting new people. And at the end of their first date? Emily wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Alex yet. What did she do? The obvious, of course. 🙂 She invited him in to see her sock collection. He made that collection complete sometime later by gifting her socks with his face on them. (And they definitely made an appearance during their engagement session!)

And, you should know that Alex is one hell of a planner. Like, when he proposed to Emily? Not only did he get her to go shopping and to get her nails done, but he got her best friend to fly in to KC to take her to do it. And then he got the rest of her family, and all of his to meet them in Kansas City for a surprise engagement party after he popped the question. 🙂

Did we mention that he had his sister photograph his proposal and that he gave her his Grandma’s ring? Because yep. It happened. As we sat down with these two to get to know them and they told us their story?

We’re not gonna lie, we pretty much melted into puddles in the middle of the coffee shop and aren’t even embarrassed about it. 🙂
