Chiefs Celebration Session Sneak Peek

It’s not very often that as wedding photographers we get to photograph our clients again after their wedding day. I mean, sure. From time to time we get to do maternity and newborn photos, and then once in a while after that family photos. It’s not that we don’t WANT to do those photos, it just rarely happens. In fact, all of our wedding clients are automatically on our “special list” of people that we would drop anything in a heartbeat for to do those photos for. 

Even more rare than doing family photos for our clients? Getting to do couples photos for our clients again after their wedding. Which just means that we were super-di-duperty over-the-top excited when Neal asked us if we could do another photo session for him and Jennifer. 

You see, back when these two lovebirds had their engagement photos taken, the Royals had just won the World Series. To finish off their session they decided to don their celebratory Royals’ gear, which, of course, we were super excited to see. And after their engagement session? They printed one of their Royals’ photos to hang on the wall in their home. 

Well, as we all know, the Chiefs just won the Super Bowl. And by “just” we mean back in February.

And then we all got forced into stay-at-home orders. So, when Neal asked us if we could do a Chiefs Celebration Session, similar to what we had done with them for the Royals? SIGN.US.UP. 

Like, for real, friends. And this, is exactly how we found ourselves one hot summer night at Union Station, meeting old friends (and clients) to celebrate the Chiefs Super Bowl win in July. And you know what? It was an absolute BLAST. It was so amazingly wonderful to catch up with these two AMAZING humans, chit-chat for a little bit, and make new memories.
