A Lawrence Engagement Session | Jennifer & Aaron

Happy Thursday! We would love to introduce you to Jennifer and Aaron. We had the pleasure of meeting these two a few months ago when we participated in the Beautiful Bride show at Arrowhead Stadium, put on by EA Bride and the stadium. We were so excited when we found out that Jennifer and Aaron wanted us to do their engagement photos! These two are from Lawrence, but will be getting married here in Kansas City this fall. Since their wedding images will all be in Kansas City, they wanted to be able to do their engagement photos in Lawrence, specifically in and around KU’s beautiful campus. They also wanted to include their sweet pup, Buster, in their engagement photos, and even bought a tie for him to wear for the special day!

Despite the fact that we’re big Mizzou fans, KU’s Lawrence campus is probably one of our favorite locations to shoot in Lawrence. Just for the simple fact that there is so much to do there! There are always a few iconic spots that we like to hit up (Potter’s Lake and the Campanile Bell Tower), but we always try to put a different spin on things and shoot a different way from the time before. We had such a fun afternoon roaming around the University of Kansas with Jennifer, Aaron, and Buster! Buster was excited beyond belief, and he behaved so well for photos! He definitely added his full personality to everything!

To finish off their engagement session, Kyle knew that he wanted to be someplace to catch sunset. Just before the sun set we left the campus and moved to Clinton Lake to catch sunset. I don’t think we’ve ever seen a body of water more still and quiet than the lake that evening. Just absolutely gorgeous. Since the water was so still the vibrant sunset reflected perfectly off the water, just completely surrounding us with light and color.
