Strawberry Hill Summer Wedding | Taylor & Brian
You guys. It’s finally Taylor and Brian’s turn. To get shared on the blog, that is. By now they’ve been married for a few months. They have gone on an AMAZING honeymoon. And, they’ve both started new jobs, and moved to a new home. But, it’s finally their turn for us to celebrate their marriage with all of you. And can we just tell you, their wedding day, we just get giddy thinking back to it.
With family and friends in town all weekend long, these two didn’t’ just celebrate one day. They celebrated the whole dang weekend. And you know what? They deserved every minute of it. And we’re so happy they got it. 🙂
Strawberry Hill Summer Wedding
Getting Ready | Crowne Plaza Kansas City
Taylor and Brian both got ready at the Crowne Plaza Kansas City in downtown KC. Brian and the guys had an awesome suite to get ready in. Taylor and the ladies had a room and view from the very top overlooking all of Kansas City. With everyone under one roof it made it so easy for their family and wedding party to bop back and forth between the two all morning long.
Wedding Ceremony | St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
The church Taylor and Brian got married in? It’s a closed Catholic church in Strawberry Hill. It also happens to be the church that Taylor went to with her Grandfather every week when she was younger. And after church? They hit up the bowling alley right behind it.

Classic architecture is Taylor and Brian’s thing. It’s why they love their reception venue so much. So we knew when wedding day rolled around that the perfect spot for their photo location was The Nelson. Add in a little bit of Kansas City skyline and a few images at The Brass, and their day was complete.
Wedding Reception | The Brass on Baltimore
One of the main reasons Taylor and Brian picked The Brass on Baltimore for their reception is the architecture. The other is because it’s so centrally located. And it definitely doesn’t hurt that their wedding colors of navy and burgundy coordinated perfectly with the gorgeous stained glass in The Tudor Room!
Congratulations, Taylor and Brian! We’re so excited to see where life takes you next! Thank you so much for letting us create your wedding photos!
