Sunny Winter Wedding at The Elms
Hailey and Johnny’s wedding day at The Elms? You guys. One for the memory books, for sure. Theirs (of course), and ours. You see, these two lovebirds wedding planned for at least two years. Why that long? Well, Hailey wanted to give herself plenty of time to accomplish everything she wanted to without feeling rushed or stressed out. And believe us when we say, these two had the best day ever for them.
They included and incorporated so much of themselves into their wedding day.
Which, you know by now, we’re absolute suckers for. Hailey surrounded herself by her sister and soon-to-be sister in-law, her bffs, and her sweet momma on wedding morning. And as her VIPs helped her put on her dream wedding gown? Girlfriend broke down in happy wedding day tears as she became so overwhelmed by emotion. And again, when she saw her Grandma’s charm pinned on her bouquet.
Meanwhile, Johnny and his groomsmen? Spent their morning playing cards and harassing each other. I’m not sure there’s a better way to spend a wedding morning than doing exactly what these hooligans did.
Hailey and Johnny knew they wanted to share a first look, and the moments leading up to it? Some of the most exhilarating and nervous moments of their whole entire day. But once they spent some time together? Oh, friends.
The smiles on their faces couldn’t get any bigger or more genuine.
Hailey’s momma walked her girl down the aisle, happy tears flowing down both of their faces the entire way. And watching Johnny wipe those tears from his bride’s eyes? Oh. you guys. It’s safe to say we had a hard time keeping it together. These two incorporated their parents’ toasting flutes from their wedding days into their unity ceremony, and sealed the deal with a dramatic ballroom dancer dip.
And then they exited their ceremony performing the dance (that’s right, THE DANCE) from Dirty Dancing.
I mean….. You guys. It was pretty amazing. Not to mention they danced the entire night away to one of their favorite bands. What a day these two had. And the icing on the cake? Sneaking away during their reception to create a few end of the night photos with Johnny’s beloved Ford Mustang, just snuggling in and loving on each other.
