Shining Stars January Tasting Event

“Say what?! A tasting?! By Shining Stars?! You KNOW we’re down to assist/shoot/mix and mingle!!” That’s pretty much the exact response we gave Deb and Marvin of Shining Stars when they asked us if we would be the participating photographer for their January tasting. You know we get excited when people ask us to do fun things like this. Especially when there will be good food involved. And man – it was SO MUCH FUN!!!

Why? Well… we got to meet all kinds of new vendor friends. Like Elizabeth and Jenni from Wild Hill Flowers. The amazing team from Dolce (hello wedding cake dreams!). Of course, Ray, Uma, and DJ Hyden from Icon Events. The entire Shining Stars Catering Events team.  The rental team from Supply Events – hello new friends! Annie from Crossroads Calligraphy, who is just so sweet. And of course, the oh-so-generous View at Briarcliff team lead by the amazing Karen. And friends – we had so much fun getting to meet all of these amazing people and working with them! Talk about an all star team of wedding vendors!!

But perhaps, one of the very, very best things about the Shining Stars Tasting event? (Besides the food – obviously that was AMAZING.) The people that attended. There were so many newly engaged couples planning their big day. Or couples that have been together for years who are selecting their final vendors. Parents of the bride doing the leg work and collecting recon. And a few grooms who were told there was going to be delicious food and drinks. All of these people had so much fun, and we can’t wish our biggest congratulations to them enough.
