There’s just something about spring in Kansas City. Everything is awake and alive and full of color. It seems like new, exciting things are happening everywhere. Love is definitely in the air, and all over the city. And, it means that it’s time to get back outside for engagement sessions. Which, you know we LOVE!!

This is where Kayla and James entered our lives. Last spring. They’re getting married in December, and are SO excited for their winter wedding, that Kayla ordered a snow machine, just in case they don’t get real snow on their wedding day. But, all winter long all she was thinking about was their engagement session. She knew she wanted something romantic, and, of course, she wanted it to happen in spring. Yay!!

Believe it or not, the locations for their session were a last minute change for us. We had originally planned something much more rustic and outdoorsy for them, but when Kayla told us what she was planning on wearing, it all changed. We knew we had to use one of our very, very favorite secret locations in the city. And man, are we so glad we changed our minds!

Their engagement session would up being so utterly romantic and dreamy. And you know we’re big suckers for creating timeless, romantic engagement images.While we won’t be able to be at Kayla and James’ wedding this December, we are so, so excited for them.
