Prairiefire Wedding Sneak Peek

Friends, Meet Diana and Ryan. He’s the toast to her hash-browns. And the thing they love the most about each other? Their weirdness and ability to completely be themselves around each other. He puts up with her “weird tv shows,” and she encourages him to come up with the best costume for Comic-con ever (hello Kylo Ren undercover as Matt!).

These two lovebirds got married on Saturday, and believe us when we tell you it was a long time in the making. They’ve known each other for years, but only reconnected a few years ago, immediately started dating and hit it completely out of the park.

They’ve been together ever since.

If you’re lucky enough to know Diana and Ryan as a couple, you know that there’s never more than a few minutes that go by without laughter. Or a nerdy reference to something. Normally it’s both combined into one, which is what makes it even better. Their love and support for each other is an amazing thing to get to witness. And the way Ryan looks at Diana? It will melt you in your spot even if it’s not July in Kansas City.

And their wedding day? You guys. We can’t even. These two got married at their church in Belton, and had their crazy-amazing reception at The Museum at Prairiefire. Which means that they also got ready at the Museum. With all of the exhibits and dinos in the backgrounds of their photos. Surrounded by all of their favorite people. With the hot summer sun miraculously only hitting the blue and turquoise stained glass windows (blue is Diana’s favorite color) all day long.

It was simply magical.

And we were lucky enough to get to hang out with them, their amazing friends, and crazy-wonderful families all day long. It was easily a wedding day that we’ll never forget for so many amazing reasons. But especially, because we got to be witness to Diana and Ryan starting their forever together.
