Modern Winter Wedding Sneak Peek

WOW. Just wow, friends. Keri and Sam got married on Leap Day (2/29/20), and it was quite possibly one of our most favorite wedding days ever. Not only did we get beautiful, bright blue skies at the end of February, but their whole entire day was just absolutely filled with LOVE and all things Keri and Sam.

For real, though. Keri’s shoes? White Vans high-tops. Her bouquet? Had one of her very, very favorite flowers in it. Sam got to have brunch at one of his favorite places (Boulevard Tavern) with his VIPs. Their first look just absolutely took our breath away. We revisited The Plaza with them (where they first met) for a few minutes of portraits with them.

And of course they stopped by a HUGE Chiefs mural in Westport with their wedding party.

When we finally all made it to Pennway Place at Studio Dan Meiners? The Dan Meiners team and their AWESOME planner Ali went above and beyond to give the space a warm, modern lofty feel that was PERFECT for their ceremony. Their nephews in their tiny tuxes were beyond adorable.

And you guys. Don’t even get us started on their wedding ceremony. Officiated by one of their close friends, it was one of the most fun, so extremely authentic and personal ceremonies that we’ve witnessed in a while. All night long upbeat club music played throughout their reception. Everyone had Milk Bar cookies and truffles. And their LED balloon send-off at the end of the night?

Just right for this crazy-cool, modern, oh-so-sweet and in love couple.
