KC Skyline Proposal

Just after Valentine’s Day we received a message from Ben. He and his girlfriend, Logan, had just gone engagement ring shopping. She’s a medical student, and super-crazy busy all the time. BUT, she had also given him some dates that she was “available” for him to propose after they went ring shopping. And now, Ben was tasked with somehow managing to surprise the love of his life with the best proposal ever. No pressure, Ben. 🙂

Every year we get asked to photograph a few proposals here and there, and it’s always so exciting for us. But I’m 100% sure that words can’t even express how excited Ben was when we spoke to him on the phone. Over the moon excited to finally get to propose to the love of his life. And so, crazy, ridiculously in love with Logan that when we hung up, we felt more in love too.  And to get that from a phone call? Man, you just knew this guy loved this girl so much.

The one thing he knew he wanted to make sure he accomplished with his proposal (aside from Logan saying yes), was to get good pictures. And to find a fantastic location to help get those good pictures. Someplace that would live up to Logan’s expectations and still completely surprise her.

Well, friends. We’re going to share more of their sweet, sweet love story with you as soon as we share the rest of their proposal photos. But for now all that you need to know, is that Ben gave Logan the surprise of her life. And she said yes. And everyone involved laughed and cried and celebrated with them. It was one of the most beautiful, heartfelt proposals and reactions we’ve seen in a while, and not one that will be easily forgotten.

Are you asking why we shared three sneak peek photos when we normally only share one? If we’re being honest it’s because we love them all so much and couldn’t pick just one. I mean, you just have to have a photo of Ben down on one knee. But, you also have to have a photo of the ring. But we just love the third so stinking much because there’s so much raw emotion and pure joy. Kinda like a kid on Christmas when he realizes Santa came and left presents. So that’s why there are three. 🙂
