Best of 2020 KC Wedding Photography
It’s so incredibly hard to believe this insane year we’ve called 2020 is coming to an end. Within hours, actually. We’re not sure about you, but over here we’ve laughed (sometimes out of hysteria), cried happy and sad tears, not hugged anyone but each other, and learned a whole lot about ourselves, and each other. Which, in all honesty, is kind of hard to do after 13 years together.
2020 was a year for the record books for us in many ways.
Kyle got to shoot all of the Chiefs Superbowl stuff. And we invested in a drone. We hired a business coach. We lost an entire half of our business and income. No joke. The other half of our business focuses on corporate and non-profit events, and those were simply non-existent this year. We photographed more families than we could have imagined, which made us realize just how much we love creating meaningful images for families. We did more maternity sessions than ever before too, and even planned gender reveal for dear friends and past clients. Throw a senior session in there too, you know, just to round everything out. We even launched a fine art print shop, which apparently you all love too.
What a year.
But despite all of that, and everything that 2020 brought with it, there were still so many good things that happened. You know, like 10 of the most super-awesome, special couples in the world got married. And we got to be there to take their photos. And they all had crazy-cool, completely and utterly them wedding days, COVID be damned.
Today, that’s what we’re here to share. Our Best of 2020 KC Wedding Photography. Some of our best, most favorite moments from their days. Because who are we kidding, we want to end this year on as good of a note as we can. 🙂
Side note – as you scroll through these images, just imagine us singing “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child or “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John over and over in our heads for the entire last week. Because when it all boils down to it? We survived, friends. And we can’t thank you all enough for that.
