Abby & Mark’s Kauffman Stadium Engagement Session

It’s March (and 70 degrees outside). The Royals are in spring training and playing their first games. After last fall all of Kansas City is so excited for the beginning of baseball season and it’s no different at our house. Kyle’s spent the day looking back through his World Series images eagerly anticipating Opening Day. With all of these Royals/Kauffman Stadium photos floating around lately it made us realize that we never shared Abby and Mark’s Kauffman Stadium Engagement Session from last summer.

We recently shared Abby and Mark’s Brass on Baltimore Wedding, but I can’t believe we forgot about their gorgeous engagement session! Abby is the amazing coordinator behind A Wedding Come True, and she and Mark knew exactly what they wanted for their engagement photos. Since their first date was at Kauffman Stadium they knew that they wanted part of their engagement session to take place at the stadium. We were so excited! We’ve done a wedding at Sporting KC, but not at Kauffman yet. Kyle was thrilled for the chance to get to shoot in the stadium and do something that wasn’t solely focused on the game happening on the field.

Since it was so hot we spent the morning at Kauffman, and then met up again closer to sunset in Kansas City’s Westside, one of Abby and Mark’s favorite neighborhoods. Mark actually took Abby to Novel right after they got engaged, so this neighborhood means a lot to them. With their morning session more casual at Kauffman, they decided to glam it up a little bit for their evening shoot. Mark wore a new custom gray suit and Abby coordinated with her fun blue skirt. We had so much fun wandering around the Westside taking photos! Here’s just a glance at their session – enjoy!!
