A Classic Wedding Day | Jess & Jeremy's Wedding

Meet Jessica and Jeremy. If we could tell you anything about these two, it’s that they love to have a good time, laugh, and balance each other out better than pretty much anyone we know. We knew that their wedding day would be filled with lots of love, and laughter and we were not disappointed. Jess & Jeremy had a very classic wedding day with a few boho details thrown in here and there. Jeremy and the groomsmen stuck with classy black tuxes with bowties that coordinated to the pale pink bridesmaid gowns. Jess had each of her bridesmaid’s pick out their own dress, so everyone felt comfortable in their dress. One of our favorite details from their day? Jess’s flower headband.

These two chose to do a first look before their wedding ceremony to help get some of the nerves out of the way, and we’re so glad they did! It gave us the opportunity to do a few photos with just the two of them, which we always love. After their ceremony we traveled around Kansas City visiting a few locations for photos. We picked one of our favorite rustic bridges for photos of the bridesmaids, and a few with Jess and Jeremy as well, before we headed to The Nelson to make some more images.

Jess and Jeremy had their reception at The Monarch Room in Kansas City’s Crossroads District. They chose the Monarch Room while it was still under construction, but knew they were going to love the floor to ceiling windows that faced out over the city that would let the sunset in during their reception. One of our favorite moments from their day happened while we were doing their ending photos outside, just after dusk. Jeremy had picked Jess up and was twirling her around in the middle of the street. They were so excited that their day had gone off without a hitch and that the weather had been beautiful, and were so excited that they were finally married. Congratulations you two; we’re so excited for you and can’t wait to see where your journey together takes you next!
