2019 Behind the Scenes

Wow. 2019 was such a fun year for us, friends. We got to meet all kinds of new couples, try all kinds of new things, techniques and tools, and did all kinds of things that scared us. It’s easy to say that we laughed more with our couples during their days and sessions than ever before. And, were often the butts of those jokes because we got caught red-handed behind the scenes doing something a little….. weird.

But, I guess that’s what we get for always pushing the envelope and trying something new.

For the first time ever, (EVER), we kept track of these shenanigans and didn’t automatically put them into the “reject” pile of images from your sessions and wedding days. Instead, we’ve been adding them to their own special folder.

Or have been collecting them from you and your phones, just for this post.

We are so excited (and laughing very nervously at ourselves) to get to release our first year of behind the scenes images. Or bloopers. Or a crazy combination of us caught in front of the camera or behind it.

Some of these we purposefully caught of each other, some were accidents. And while we should probably be a little more embarrassed about some of these catches, we’re just going to welcome you to laugh at us, with us.

Because some of these are real gems.

So did these just happen while we were creating portraits? Nope. Most of them happened during your real, honest moments. While you were getting your hair done, or during your wedding ceremony. Getting jiggy with it during your receptions, or having your wedding parties run straight at us. In some circumstances, even loving on your sweet pups.

Nevertheless, they exist. And we’re excited to share them with you. 🙂
