Timeless Garment District Engagement Session
Amanda and Stephen are one of those couples that makes you believe in love and fairy tale endings. They make you want to be a better person. And their sweet, loving personalities rub off on anyone they come in contact with. We knew from the minute we met this sweet pair that they were meant to be together. And we were so excited for the chance to just get to know them and spend time with them.
These two love Kansas City, and wanted a very classic, timeless engagement session. We couldn’t have agreed more! We knew that we wanted to create beautiful, warm images for their session, and Kyle set out on a scouting trip to find locations that would let us do just that.
One of our very favorite classic session locations is Kansas City’s Garment District. And we’re so glad that we started Amanda and Stephen’s engagement session there. It was so quite on the afternoon we met them, and with green leaves still on the trees, this city block was so romantic and intimate. Some of their (and our) favorite images from their whole session came from our time together here!

The only request Amanda made for their engagement session was that we stopped by the infamous Kansas City mural outside Fortuity in the Crossroads District. After a quick wardrobe change, these two were ready! And – by the way – how much does Amanda look like Jess from New Girl in her bright dress and bangs?!

We finished Amanda and Stephen’s engagement session at the Rose Garden at Loose Park. This was the perfect, romantic ending spot for these two. Especially with the early autumn golden hour setting in.
