Have you ever heard the saying it’s not what you know, but who you know? In our world, that is a very valid and true statement. We may be able to make great photos of just about anything. But we’re about 99% sure you don’t want to see pretty photos of our jade tree. (If you do, hit us up and we’ll be sure to share.) When it comes to the wedding world, there are so many vendors out there. And so many options. Over the years it seems as if Pinterest has taken wedding planning and inspiration to a whole new, crazy level. And don’t get us wrong, as wedding photographers, we love a little crazy.

BUT. Can we tell you just how much we love it when new inspiration comes our way? We love it even more when there are a dozen other fantastic vendors involved. And as much as we will always love wedding days and all of the raw emotion involved, we do love a good styled shoot. Especially when there’s a really unique concept at hand and we can just “play” to create new images. It’s an even bigger honor for us that other vendors trust us to execute and photograph their vision.

A few weeks ago, we got asked to participate in a steampunk-industrial styled bridal shoot at The Pavilion. And, when it comes to who you know, this team of vendors was out of this world. The fantastic minds of Megan Julian from Julian Events and Mary-Catherine from BP Creative came up with this crazy fun concept. And it was SO MUCH FUN! And moody, and dramatic, and very bold, and still very wedding worthy. We had such a great time with this amazing team of vendors. We’re so glad that they’re all people we get to work with and have the honor of knowing! One thing that we always tell all of our wedding clients is to hire good people. They’ll take good care of you, and will make sure you have the best day possible. Well friends, these are some of the best “good people” that we know. Enjoy!
