Nighttime Engagement Photos Kansas City | B+A
If we’re being 100% honest, we’re not even sure where to start telling you about Brandie and Anthony. They are easily two of the most in-love people we’ve met. They’re crazy passionate about each other, and their love for each other. Anthony makes it his purpose every single day to keep Brandie on her toes. Always trying to guess what’s going to come out of his mouth that will make her roll her eyes. Brandie has one of the biggest hearts, simply put. She donates her time to her church fundraisers and helps plan events. She even just got back from a mission trip to Nicaragua.
Put them together, and these two are an absolute blast. It’s almost like you feel like better people just by being around them, and watching them interact with each other. And we haven’t even told you about Brandie’s daughter, Natalie. The relationship she and Anthony share is so incredibly special. And we all got excited that Natalie wanted to be included in Brandie and Anthony’s engagement photos. Oftentimes older kids aren’t as excited about pictures. BUT, Natalie, is completely different. She’s kind, and sweet, and has her mom’s big heart. And the day of the photo session was the day before her 13th birthday. Needless to say, we are so glad we got to have a mini-celebration and photo shoot with her before such a big day!
For their engagement session, Brandie knew that she wanted something “different” for her photos. An amateur photographer herself, she loves color and leading lines. And, she likes things that she hasn’t seen again. When she came to the studio for the first time and saw a few of our nighttime engagement photos, and that was all it took. She knew she wanted something super-romantic, and a night roaming the city seemed to be just perfect.
After having fun with Natalie at The Nelson, we finished Brandie and Anthony’s engagement session downtown. Brandie couldn’t have chosen her blue dress better to match the gorgeous glass, lines, and gold lights at the Kauffman Center. And we had so much fun with these two just wandering the streets of the Power & Light District later that evening. Stopping when we saw something that felt like them. We even had a crazy-car pull over and the driver offered to let us take a few photos with his car!
