Kansas City National Airline History Museum Wedding | A+W
We knew that we were in for a treat when Ashley and Walter told us they were having their wedding at the National Airline History Museum. To be honest with you, we didn’t even know that Kansas City was home to the National Airline History Museum! If their engagement session was any indication, we knew their wedding day was going to be a one-of-a-kind! It’s actually on the other side of the downtown airport, and it’s a really neat place!
Getting Ready Location | The Aladdin Hotel – Downtown Kansas City
Ashley and Walter chose to get ready at the same hotel in downtown Kansas City, The Aladdin. This hotel is so neat, and it has so many great spots for portraits! Plus the rooms and suites are really a great size to give your bridal party plenty of room to get ready!
First Look Location | The Aladdin Hotel – Downtown Kansas City
To enable them to do all of their photos before their wedding, Ashley and Walter chose to do a private first look at the hotel. We never try to pressure our couples either way, but those first moments after a first look are so precious. It’s also often the only time a couple gets to spend, just the two of them, together on their wedding day.
National Airline History Museum Wedding Party Pictures
Ashley and Walter chose their venue with their wedding day vision in mind. They knew they wanted to take full advantage of all of the planes in the museum. And, since they love flying so much, they also wanted all of their portraits done in the museum as well. We love how unique and utterly “them” their bridal party portraits turned out!
Wedding Ceremony & Reception Location | Kansas City National Airline History Museum
Ashley and Walter’s ceremony took place underneath the noses of two planes. It was SO neat watching Ashley walk down the stairs from the plane to meet her groom. Married by a good friend, their ceremony was short, sweet, and to the point. As family and friends started to celebrate with cocktail hour, we snuck the happily married couple away for a few sunset photos. We are so excited that Ashley and Walter chose one of these for their custom art piece from their wedding day!
Congratulations Ashley and Walter, we’re so happy for you!
