Montego Bay Jamaica Destination Wedding | D+K
Many of you know by now that we love to travel, personally, or for engagement sessions for our clients. BUT, did you know we travel for weddings too? And we absolutely LOVE it!! After shooting their gorgeous Plaza engagement photos last fall, Danielle and Kevin asked us to photograph their wedding. In Montego Bay Jamaica! We were so excited!! Although we only take on a few destination weddings each year, we knew this was one we didn’t want to miss.
And the best part? We got to go in January, and I convinced Kyle to stay a few extra days for our first vacation in years. Kevin spent the morning golfing off the resort and in Montego Bay with his groomsmen. Danielle and her bridesmaids got to enjoy a morning at the resort spa. When it was finally time to say, “I do,” they were more than ready to relax and enjoy with their friends and family!
Danielle’s dad walking her down the aisle was one of our favorite moments from their day. Danielle and Kevin decided to keep their ceremony short and sweet. They ended it with a sand ceremony, which was perfect since we were on a beach! After their ceremony we were able to spend a few moments with just the two of them taking photos. It was so magical! After a cloud day, the clouds parted to give us a breathtaking Jamaican sunset. It couldn’t have been more perfect!
After taking a few photos we all made our way down the beach to Danielle and Kevin’s reception. Right next to the water, under the twinkly lights and starts, their reception was a blast! After an evening full of fun and dancing, Kevin and Danielle left their reception to a glow-light exit.
