K+T | Black & White 28 Event Space Wedding
You may remember Kelli and Tyler from their Crossroads Engagement Session last fall. Now we are so excited to share images from their black & white 28 Event Space wedding a few weeks ago. Every time we get together with these two fun and laughter ensues, and we expected nothing less from their wedding day. Kelli and Tyler chose 28 Event Space for both their wedding and reception venue. Kelli LOVES the sparkly twinkly lights in the ceiling and the urban, lofty feeling of the venue. The look and feeling of the venue fit perfectly with what they wanted for their wedding day.
Getting Ready
One of the many great things about 28 Event Space is the lofts that come with the venue. Kelli, Tyler, and their bridal party were all able to stay the night before their wedding at the venue so they were all in one place to get ready for their big day. Kelli’s hair and make-up artists came to her, which made their morning preparations much easier! And, it was an added perk that one of her bridesmaids was also one of her make-up artists!
First Look
Kelli and Tyler chose to do a first look on their wedding day. Primarily so they could knock their photos out before their ceremony and roll right into their reception, but also so they could include their sweet dogs. As you know from their engagement session, these two LOVE the Crossroads, so that’s where they chose to do their first look.
Bridal & Wedding Party Portraits
After their first look, the wedding party met us in the Crossroads and we traveled to one of our favorite locations in the city: the downtown rooftop park. This spot was perfect for their large bridal party! We LOVE this spot, and were able to do some new things while we were there.
Wedding Ceremony
Kelli and Tyler had a late afternoon ceremony at 28 Event Space. With all of their loved ones in attendance, Tyler’s sister married them during a beautiful, personal ceremony. Instead of a unity candle Kelli and Tyler did a wine ceremony.
Reception
As soon as their ceremony was over Kelli and Tyler’s cocktail hour started at 28 Event Space, followed directly by their reception. After munching on tacos, guac and salsa for dinner these two partied the night away with their friends and family. Congratulations again Kelli and Tyler and thank you so much for letting us be part of your special day!!
