KC Boulevard Brewery Wedding Reception | Jen & Jake
You may remember Jen and Jake from their Kansas City Western Auto Building Rooftop Wedding we posted a few weeks ago. We are back to share their sparkly Boulevard Brewery Wedding Reception! We love that Jen and Jake decided to wait a few days to have their reception. Especially since we got to do more photos with them at Boulevard before their guests started to arrive! Jen stuck with the same color scheme from their Thursday wedding with lots of beautiful flowers and gold sparkles everywhere. And, can you just take a minute to check out Jen and Jacob’s wedding cake? Definitely makes our list of favorite wedding cakes. We absolutely love how true to Jennifer and Jacob’s theme it kept!
Many of you know that we include day-of sneak-peek slideshows in our wedding collections. Jennifer and Jacob’s reception was no different. They got a private viewing of their slideshow while they had dinner, just before their guests arrived. Once all of Jen and Jacob’s guests had arrived we started the slideshow of images, so all of their friends and family could see images from their wedding ceremony and bridal show afterwards. It was just amazing to witness all of the emotion in the room as their closest friends watched them get married.
After cocktails, Jackstack, and toasts one of the most memorable moments of the whole night happened. When Jennifer’s sister married her husband a few years earlier, she didn’t get to have a father/daughter dance. Jen and Jacob had previously decided that they wanted Stephanie to share Jennifer’s father/daughter dance at the reception. We are so happy that we were able to capture this moment between these sisters. Stephanie was completely surprised!Jennifer and Jacob spent the rest of their reception evening dancing and celebrating with friends and family that came to Kansas City specifically for their wedding reception.
