Elegant Cellar 222 Wedding | Ali & Johnny

You might remember Ali and Johnny from their beautiful KATY Trail engagement session earlier this year. We are back and so excited to share their wedding day with you! Can we just tell you how gorgeous and elegant their wedding day was? Nothing was done for their wedding without Ali and Johnny signing off on it, and you can tell just how much of “them” their wedding day was.

Bridal Party Getting Ready | The Westin at Crown Center

Throughout their wedding planning, Ali and Johnny knew they wanted to keep things simple and easy for their friends and family. To help with this, everyone got ready in two suites at The Westin at Crown Center. We never try to push our opinion on our couples, but we LOVE when they decide to get ready at the same hotel. It seems to make the emotions and adrenaline run just a little bit higher. And it makes our job to tell a full story just a little bit easier.

First Look Location | Liberty Memorial

Ali and Johnny knew for a VERY long time that they wanted their first look to happen at Liberty Memorial. Since Johnny is in the military, they knew that their images would mean that much more to them down the road. Saturdays are notoriously crowded at the memorial, so Kyle chose to have their first look at the base of the memorial instead of up top. Miraculously, when Ali turned the corner to see Johnny for the first time, the base completely cleared out. There was nobody around but the two of them and our team! We couldn’t even believe it!

Wedding Party Picture Location| Liberty Memorial

To keep things easy for their bridal party, Ali and Johnny did all of their photos at Liberty Memorial. We met their wedding party up top, and took advantage of some of the shade the museum provides, as well as some of the gorgeous tree line. We are so in love with how the images of Ali and Johnny turned out against the blue tile. Aren’t they just stunning?!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception Location | Cellar 222

Ali and Johnny held their wedding ceremony and reception in one location, Cellar 222. If you’ve never been there, you should go see it! The beautiful, rustic, cozy cellar was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Since it was August, there was no fire in the fireplace, but it was draped with stunning floral arrangements instead.
