Say hello to Jessica and David. Would you believe these two have three beautiful little girls?! We met David four or five years ago when we photographed his brother’s wedding. We were so excited that he and Jessica contacted us when they decided to get married! Plus, we got to hang out with their three cuties, which is always fun! Since they’re getting married in September Jessica and David knew they wanted a spring engagement session. They actually purchased their first home together a few weeks before we started planning their session, and we were more than happy to start at their new home with their girls when they asked. They’ve got several acres of land, which as you can see, was in full bloom! Aren’t their girls adorable?!
Once we finished up at their home we traveled downtown with Jessica and David to one of our favorite, and probably most under-utilized parks in the city. The trees had gorgeous white blossoms on them, which really brightened the dreary day and went perfect with what David and Jessica chose to wear for their photos.

When they had initially started planning their wedding, Jessica knew she wanted to have it in the Crossroads. Unfortunately after a bit of a predicament with their venue, they had to move their wedding day venues. We knew that since she wouldn’t get to have her wedding in the Crossroads that we still wanted to give Jessica the Crossroads look and feel that she loves in her engagement photos.
David loves graffiti, so we of course had to visit one of the most popular graffiti alleys in Kansas City. It seems like every time we visit it there’s something new up, which we love! To add some color and glam to their session these two chose to wear the same outfits that they wore the night David proposed, which was the perfect pop of color. We had so much fun with you two, and can’t wait for your wedding in September!
